The Segway HT is a wonderful machine. Uses are endless whether fro enjoyment or something more serious like business. Because the Segway is so unique it has a certain appeal and people are inquisitive about it. In most instances while gliding on a Segway people will come up to you to talk to you about it. It is a very friendly machine.

In today’s complex world of marketing it seems harder and harder to get a company noticed. Many people have been using the HT to give an edge.

We have seen many attempts at turning the Segway HT into a billboard. Several things need to come in to play when accomplishing this.

First and foremost your billboard has to work safely with the Segway. Meaning it has to be very light and not interfere with the function of the machine in any way.

Second is aesthetics. The engineers at Segway not only designed a machine that does things that still baffle most, they also made it very pleasing on the eye. It just flows well. Most billboards we have seen do not work well with the flow of the HT at all.

Third is the billboard must be very good quality to go with the quality of the Segway and to represent your company or entity well. It has to be built to last and take punishment. At the same time it has to bend a flex as the HT is a very active machine.

Lastly the billboard needs to be easy to install and remove. Without damaging your machine. Preferable with no tools required. This is a must for storage and transportation.

The SegShield™is an answer to all your billboard needs! The SegShield™ is very light and does not interfere with the function of the Segway at all. In fact you can still adjust your control shaft height with the SegShield™ installed. Being made of aircraft grade aluminum and polycarbinate, weight is not an issue at all.

The SegShield™ flows with the lines of the HT. It complements rather then detracts. It works on the XT as well!

No shortcuts have been taken on quality! The bracket itself is made of aircraft grade aluminum and built be a machine shop that builds parts for Boeing! True aircraft quality parts. Then the bracket is anodized rather then painted, for a long lasting and durable finish. High grade polycarbinate is used for the board itself so you can use it over and over again even when changing graphics. The fasteners attaching the board to the bracket are all stainless steel for long life and rust free performance in any weather so your graphic won’t be damaged by rust. The mounting straps are all commercial grade and readily replacable if damaged.

The SegShield™ mounts to your HT with three heavy commercial Velcro straps. Two is enough but we have overbuilt the system. It takes about two minutes to securing mount the SegShield™ and 30 seconds to remove it.

Outside dimensions of the SegShield™ are approximately 22” wide and 29” tall. Spec sheet of banner area can be emailed with purchase.

The SegShield™ is sold without graphics. We do have a wonderful graphics company we work with. They have done both our SegShield™ and Zuvers Real Estate shown in pictures here. If you purchase we can hook you directly with them if you like. We will stay out of the middle completely. Your quality graphics shop will be perfectly capable of doing these graphics as well.
